Join us at the heart of Rochester's Total Solar Eclipse efforts at the RMSC (Rochester Museum & Science Center) as you broadcast the eclipse! The RMSC will be celebrating with a 4-day festival, ROC the Eclipse, filled with hands-on activities, speakers, music, food, and more! We're expecting several thousand guests each day of the festival. We’re working towards making sure the eclipse is accessible and exciting to literally everyone under the sun.
The RMSC is also conveniently located within half a mile from other Rochester Eclipse 2024 destinations—including Parcel 5, the George Eastman Museum down the street, and the Brewhouse at High Falls—plus multiple hotels, including The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa - a DoubleTree by Hilton, a 5-minute walk from our campus.
The Rochester Museum and Science Center... in the heart of the Rochester's Museum District.

The RMSC downtown campus stretches across more than 12 acres, including the RMSC Museum & Science Center, the RMSC Strasenbugh Planetarium, a small observatory on top of the RMSC Strasenbugh Planetarium, and a park. We’re expecting thousands of visitors on the day of the eclipse and in the days leading up to it. Plans are being put in place to close off roads surrounding the campus to support additional visitors.
Broadcast the eclipse from the middle of the epicenter of science and astronomy in Rochester, at the ROC the Eclipse festival.
From multiple points on our campus, you'll have views of the open sky that will provide a clear view of the eclipse along with members of the public joining together to experience the beauty that is totality
